Zambians vote in closely contested elections

Sixteen candidates are contesting Zambia鈥檚 presidential election, and ballots are also being cast for parliamentary and local government representatives.

More than 7 million registered voters are expected to cast their ballots in Zambia鈥檚 tightly contested presidential and parliamentary elections.

Plus Ethiopia鈥檚 rebel Oromo Liberation Army says it has agreed a military alliance with Tigrayan forces in their fight against the federal government.
