Colonel Mamady Doumbouya becomes president of the transitional government
Guinea has sworn in Colonel Mamady Doumbouya as president of the transitional government and he has promised to respect the West African state鈥檚 international commitments whilst the country transitions to civilian rule.
Nigeria鈥檚 President Muhammadu Buhari in a speech to mark Independence Day has agreed to lift the national ban on Twitter, but only if certain conditions are met.
And the Resident Presidents are discussing rockets and missiles.
