Mozambique has declared an outbreak of wild polio after a young child was diagnosed with the disease in the country鈥檚 north-eastern Tete province.

South Sudan says it is sending its army to the disputed oil-rich Abyei region, along the border with Sudan, following the latest ethnic clashes.
