Police in South Africa are investigating the mysterious death of 22 teenagers after a night out at a bar in the city of East London. Officials say many of the victims are thought to have been celebrating end of year exams.

And, in Nigeria鈥檚 north-western state of Zamfara officials are calling on locals to arm themselves against criminal gangs. They say it鈥檚 part of measures to try and deal with the rising numbers of kidnappings and violent attacks
