Angola unearths largest rare diamond in 300 years

Miners in north-east Angola have discovered a rare, pure pink diamond they believe to be the largest rough diamond of its kind to be unearthed in 300 years.

Miners in north-east Angola are celebrating the discovery of a large pink diamond which they have named The Lulo Rose, after the mine where it was found. The vice chairperson of the Board of Lulo Mines explains why it is so special.
