Scientists have uncovered the oldest dinosaur skeleton ever unearthed in Africa in Zimbabwe. The Mbiresaurus raathi lived 230 million years ago.

Scientists have uncovered the oldest dinosaur skeleton ever unearthed in Africa in Zimbabwe. The Mbiresaurus raathi lived 230 million years ago. We speak to Darlington Munyikwa, deputy director of National Museums and Monuments of Zimbabwe, who took part in the expeditions which led to the discovery.

Plus, villagers in Cameroon are in a panic over an unusual smell emanating from Lake Kuk. It鈥檚 in the same area as Lake Nyos, which boiled over in 1986 and released a toxic gas which killed hundreds of people.

And Zambia is set to receive a $1.3bn loan from the International Monetary Fund, after the Fund鈥檚 board approved the proposal.
