Former CAR rebel leader denies war crimes

Former CAR rebel leader Mahamat Said Abdel Kani has appeared at the ICC and pleaded not guilty to charges of war crimes.

A former senior rebel commander in the Central African Republic, Mahamat Said Abdel Kani, has pleaded not guilty to charges of war crimes at the start of his trial at the International Criminal Court.
