Two years on from the wave of protests in Nigeria against police brutality, some campaigners say little has changed. Demonstrations under the #EndSARS banner brought thousands of young people into the streets during October 2020, but activists say many of the underlying problems persist.
Plus, 50 people have been killed in violence between the police and military and protestors in Chad. Demonstrations which had been banned by the authorities took place on the day that Mahamat D茅by had promised to leave office.
And the headteacher of Wakadogo School in Gulu in Uganda tells Focus on Africa he鈥檚 proud and humbled to win T4 Education鈥檚 World鈥檚 Best School Prize.
