Sudan clashes: over 150 killed
Violence broke out between ethnic groups in Sudan鈥檚 Blue Nile.
Fighting intensified in Sudan鈥檚 Blue Nile over the past couple of days between members of the Hausa people and rival ethnic groups over a land dispute. It is reported that at least 150 people have been killed.
Malawi鈥檚 Homeland Security Minister, Jean Sendeza, told us that a port-mortem will be undertaken on the bodies found in the recently discovered mass graves in Malawi. It is thought that the victims were Ethiopian migrants who were being trafficked through the country.
We speak to Democratic Republic of Congo鈥檚 president Felix Tshisekedi about insecurity, investment and climate change.
And ahead of COP27 in Egypt, we heard from Professor Carlos Lopes, a former executive secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission on what Africa can do to tackle climate change.
