Ethiopia’s warring parties agree truce
African Union mediator, Olusegun Obasanjo, said it is just the start of the peace process.
After two years of a brutal civil war between the government of Ethiopia and Tigrayan forces have signed a cessation of hostilities agreement. Services are to be restored across Tigray - a region that has been without phone lines or the internet for most of the conflict. We speak to Âé¶¹Éç’s Ethiopia correspondent, Kalkidan Yibeltal, and Africa Editor, Will Ross, to find out the significance of the deal and how it will be enforced.
