Somali hotel siege end after 20-hour battle

Somali security forces storm a Mogadishu hotel, to end a near day-long siege by al-Shabab militants.

After almost a day-long battle, Somali forces have regained control of a hotel near the presidential palace in the capital Mogadishu, that had been seized by al-Shabab militants.

An exhibition of giant painted globes, exploring the history and legacy of the Atlantic slave trade through the eyes of more than 100 artists, has been on a three-month tour across the UK.

And we meet Egyptian rapper Wegz, who has been influenced by Afrobeat music and descendants of the Nubian Kingdom in Alexandria.
