South Africa鈥檚 ruling party back president over corruption scandal
President Cyril Ramaphosa faces corruption allegations and possible impeachment.
The leadership of South Africa's governing ANC party says it will recommend voting against any attempt by parliament to remove President Cyril Ramaphosa. He is accused of corruption for failing to provide answers over an alleged theft of million of dollars from his private farm in early 2020.
An agreement has been signed between Sudan鈥檚 military and civilian leaders aimed at ending the country鈥檚 political crisis since the coup in October 2021.
We hear about conditions in some of the refugee camps in Goma, in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, where Congolese troops are battling M23 rebels.
