South Africa鈥檚 governing ANC begins leadership contest
Current president, Cyril Ramaphosa, is going for re-election despite integrity questions
South Africa鈥檚 governing ANC has started its national conference which will elect new leadership to run in the 2024 elections. President Cyril Ramaphosa is hoping to be re-elected as party leader, after recently avoiding an impeachment inquiry.
Tunisia will head to the polls at the weekend - but most of the opposition will be boycotting the elections. The elections will vote in a new parliament after the previous one was dissolved by current president, Kais Saied, in July 2021.
