Shell to pay $16m over oil spills in Nigeria

Oil leaks have caused huge damage to communities across the Niger Delta region.

Oil company, Shell, will pay $16m to communities in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, which were affected by oil spills between 2004 and 2007.
