Former rebel fighters in Tigray have begun disarming, one of the terms of the peace agreement negotiated with the Ethiopian federal government. Services have begun to be restored to the northern region, however the continued presence in Tigray of Eritrean troops remains a complicating factor.
Plus, Uganda has declared the end of the four-month Ebola outbreak which claimed more than 50 lives, the second-worst in the country鈥檚 history.
And we speak to Deborah Al Hawi, wife of the French journalist Olivier Dubois, who was kidnapped by jihadists in Mali in 2021.
