Southern Africa braces for Cyclone Freddy

Authorities say at least two million people will be affected once it makes landfall.

Nations in Southern Africa are bracing themselves for the impact of Cyclone Freddy, which is expected to make landfall in Madagascar on Tuesday, and Mozambique in the subsequent days. Authorities have said at least two million people could be affected.

Uganda has outlawed child marriage, stipulating that the legal age by which someone can marry is now 18.

Nigerian presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu has held his final rally before the country goes to the polls.
