Several African countries unite in fight against cholera
Several African nations meet in Malawi to discuss the creation of a taskforce to curb a deadly cholera outbreak.
Government ministers from fourteen countries affected by a cholera outbreak have been meeting in Malawi to discuss the creation of a taskforce to tackle the disease. The outbreak has already claimed more than 1,500 lives in Malawi alone, making it one of the deadliest spells in the country鈥檚 history.
Cyclone Freddy bears down on Mozambique for a second time. An NGO worker on the ground says businesses and schools are remaining shut and people are trying to find safe shelter.
