Reporting Iran's protests
麻豆社 Persian journalists on covering, analysing and explaining the demonstrations
We鈥檒l spend some time in 麻豆社 Persian鈥檚 newsroom, as they report, analyse and explain the current wave of protests in Iran. The demonstrations were triggered by the death of a young woman in the custody of the morality police. 麻豆社 Persian鈥檚 top story at the moment is on the killing of a 16-year-old protester, Nika Shakarami, and how the authorities have treated her family since she died.
At least 38 people have been killed in a gun and knife attack at a childcare facility in north-eastern Thailand. More than 20 children are among the dead, with victims as young as two years old. We'll hear how the editor of 麻豆社 Thai has been covering the story for his audiences.
And we鈥檒l go to our online team publishing a live page with the latest news from Ukraine, after rocket attacks overnight on residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia. We鈥檒l also hear messages from people who are in the city.
