US vice president criticised for push for LGBTQ rights
US Vice-President Kamala Harris’ remarks about LGBTQ rights while in Ghana, were criticised as "undemocratic" by the country's Speaker.
The Zambian government warns the opposition against holding anti-gay rights protests during a visit by the US Vice-President Kamala Harris. The vice-president stops in Tanzania on the second leg of her Africa tour, before heading to Zambia later in the week. But her remarks about protecting LGBTQ rights during a press conference in Ghana has ruffled a few political feathers.
