Sudan: Warring generals reject negotiations
The World Health Organization estimates that at least 300 people have been killed in a week of fighting in Sudan.
Nearly a week of fighting between rival military factions in Sudan is now thought to have killed at least 330 people, the World Health Organization estimates. Journalist Zainab Salih, on the outskirts of Khartoum, says residents are trying to flee the city.
Several African embassies have been concerned about the safety of their citizens in Sudan. We hear from a Kenya official on how they are trying to evacuate their nationals.
And as the fighting spreads across the country, we hear how hostilities are deepening an already acute humanitarian and security crisis in Darfur.
