Sudan鈥檚 ceasefire deadline approaches

The 72-hour ceasefire will expire at midnight.

As Sudan鈥檚 72-hour ceasefire deadline approaches, we hear from Deng Dau Deng, the foreign minister of neighbouring South Sudan which is leading mediation efforts. He told the 麻豆社 he hopes General Hamdan Dagalo will respond positively to an extension.

Sierra Leone鈥檚 president, Julius Maada Bio, dissolved parliament earlier this week ahead of elections in June.
