New Sudan ceasefire agreed

Sudan's opposing generals have agreed to conduct peace talks in South Sudan.

Fighting is continuing in various parts of Sudan. The army chief, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo of the rival paramilitary group, the Rapid Support Forces have agreed to a seven-day ceasefire starting on Thursday. They have also agreed to peace talks in neighbouring South Sudan.
