DR Congo holds day of mourning as floods kill hundreds
More than 400 people have died following floods and landslides that hit two villages in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
Relief efforts are continuing in Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo after heavy rains and landslides destroyed homes and killed scores of people. The Democratic Republic of Congo, where more than 400 bodies have been recovered, declares a day of national mourning.
War between Sudan's two military factions continues despite Saudi Arabia's mediation efforts.
