Sudan talks continue in Jeddah
Sudan peace talks are underway in Saudi Arabia as fighting continues on the ground.
The fighting in Sudan between the national army, and the Rapid Support Forces has been going on for just over three weeks. The latest attempt to get the two sides to agree to a ceasefire is taking place in Saudi Arabia. The initiative began on the 6th May, but there has been little to no information forthcoming. Meanwhile, the two sides have continued to fight it out on the ground.
Church authorities in Nigeria say several more people, from a group of 40 who were abducted during worship on Sunday, have escaped from captivity. The attack took place at a church in Kaduna state.
And A high court in Malawi has ordered education authorities to admit learners with dreadlocks in public schools across the country.
