Libya election consensus announced
Libya committee hopes to hold elections in early 2024.
The 6+6 committee in Libya, composed of representatives from the High Council of State and the House of Representatives, has announced a consensus on the election process for the presidency and parliament. The committee aims to hold the elections in early 2024 and emphasizes the need for a unified government to oversee the polls.
DRC president, Felix Tshisekedi is on his first official visit to Beijing. He is expected to meet Chinese President, Xi Jinping to review and sign several key trade deals.
The United Nations and The Gambia's Ministry of Health are partnering to provide fistula repair surgery and rehabilitation to women suffering from Obstetric Fistula.
