The World Bank announced it was providing $250 million dollars for the rebuild of southern Lebanon following last year's war between Israel and the militant group Hezbollah. Also on the programme, the 麻豆社 reports from Tehran; and, a new smoking ban comes into effect in France.

Julian Worricker is joined by Suzanne Lynch, Brussels bureau chief, and Jeremy Shapiro, director of the US Programme at the European Council for Foreign Relations think tank.
