Colombia's Petro meets Trump at White House

The meeting follows months of escalating tensions and angry rhetoric between the two.

The Colombian President Gustavo Petro is in Washington for a high-stakes trip to meet US President Donald Trump, the first in-person meeting between the two after months of escalating tensions and angry rhetoric. We get the latest and speak to our Senior International Correspondent Orla Guerin who has been to Colombia to look at the war on drugs.

The 13-year-old Australian boy who swam for hours to get help for his family after they were swept out to sea has told the 麻豆社 "I didn't think I was a hero - I just did what I did". We hear the story.

And as countries around the world consider social media or phone bans in schools, we speak to teachers.
