Tear gas in Paris and Marseille as school protests grow across France
French police fire tear gas at school protesters as officer is charged over student hit by projectile.
The French government has denied it ordered police repression against students, after hundreds of young people were injured in nationwide protests. The Interior Ministry said more than a quarter of a million people took part today.
