US vice-president says America and Iran "very close" to deal
Vice-President JD Vance says there are still several sticking points before a deal can be reached.
The US Vice-President JD Vance says a ceasefire extension deal with Iran is "very close" - though there are some outstanding issues. The deal would allow for further discussions on Iran's nuclear programme and an agreement on free navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
