Opposition leader seeks return Venezuela
Authorities say the death toll from last week's quakes continues to mount.
The death toll in Venezuela following twin earthquakes last week now stands at 2,600 people according to the country's president.
We speak to a representative for the country's opposition leader Maria Corina Machado. She has attempted to return to her country since the quakes. A move the US administration has reportedly described as "grotesque political opportunish."
At the World Cup tournament another African team is out of the World Cup. Algeria has just crashed out after a lacklustre performance against Switzerland. It is all eyes on Cape Verde now as they prepare to challenge defending champions Argentina.
