President Trump has again put pressure on Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine to reach a peace deal with Russia. It comes as US envoy, Steve Witkoff, prepares to hold more talks with Vladimir Putin.

The man charged over the attack of Australian MP Helen Haines, who remains in a critical condition, has briefly faced court. 43 year old Brendan Nugent has been charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury and various other charges.
