US Vice President JD Vance has arrived in Islamabad alongside the US delegation. Peace talks are due to begin in Pakistan鈥檚 capital today. Iran鈥檚 parliament speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf has said a ceasefire in Lebanon and the release of Tehran鈥檚 frozen assets must happen before negotiations begin.

Also in the programme: after a 鈥渢extbook touchdown鈥�, the four astronauts of the Artemis II lunar mission have safely returned to Earth; and scientists are predicting a change in global weather patterns later this year, caused by an expected El Ni帽o event.
