When will the famous cannon of Algiers return home?
Discussions are underway about the possible return to Algeria of a huge cannon that used to protect Algiers, but which was put on display at a French port after its capture in 1830. Âé¶¹Éç Arabic’s Ahmed Rouaba, who’s from Algeria, explains why this cannon still means so much today.
