When Olly Hawes was studying drama at university in the UK he played the part of Cassius in a production of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. For added authenticity, a decision was made that Cassius and his opponent would use real knives in a fight scene instead of fake knives. But during one particular performance, the well-rehearsed choreography went wrong and Olly was accidentally stabbed on stage. After physically recovering, Olly got back on stage and tried to shrug off the whole affair – but the incident severely affected his mental health. Olly joined Outlook's Mobeen Azhar to talk about dealing with the emotional fallout caused by this most unexpected of plot twists.

Radu Păltineanu was living a normal life when he decided to sell everything he owned to pursue his ultimate dream: cycling the length of the Americas. With no training, minimal gear and little money, Radu set off to become the first Romanian to achieve such a feat. Irina Repede followed his journey on social media and admired him from afar, before they met and fell in love – and continued their adventures together. Radu and Irina spoke to Outlook's Emily Naylor.
