Karen Kylles酶 is a child of ice and snow, growing up in a Norwegian mountain village and starting to ski as soon as she could walk. By age 14, Karen had developed a passion for polar exploration - and a TV documentary of a comedian trekking across Greenland inspired her to take on the same challenge. She made it through the 28-day expedition, despite enduring a 3-day hurricane along the way. But having achieved her goal she wanted something bigger so decided to walk across Antarctica - solo and unsupported - to the South Pole. The journey tested her mental and physical resilience but she crossed the finish line with one day of emergency food to spare, as the youngest person to ever complete the feat.

Raghvendra Kumar was at university when he met Krishna Kumar Thakur, 'the little brother he never had'. The two were inseparable friends and made great plans for the future. But tragedy struck when Krishna was killed in a motorcycle accident - one the doctors believed could have been prevented if he'd been wearing a helmet. Raghvendra vowed to try and stop other young people dying in the same way and has since dedicated his life to giving away free helmets and road safety advice to make India's roads safer. His work has earned him the name: 'The Helmet Man of India'.
