Make your own 'Memory Handprint'

This activity helps you to remember the people who are important in your life.Ìý Don't forget to ask for help from your parent / carer before you start!


Step 1
Step 1

Draw round your hands onto a piece of paper.

Step 2
Step 2

Write the names of people or pets who are important to you, or people who can help you, on the fingers.Ìý Some of the names can be of people who have died, but they don't have to be.

Step 3
Step 3

Find some clean stones or buttons that remind you of the people you've written on the hands.

Step 4
Step 4

You can stick the buttons / stones onto the fingers to show how close you feel to the person at the moment.

Step 5
Step 5
Ìý
Over time, you may want to move the stones as your feelings change.Ìý
