When Andrew Duke's first two children were born he thought he could save聽them time and effort聽later in life by teaching them聽maths - perhaps even produce a great mathematician!聽 He proceeded to sing the times tables at bedtime every night without fail to his two small babes. After two years his wife put her foot down, so Andrew didn't teach his third and fourth child - he just kept on with the first two.
So after many years of聽 teaching before sleeping - did it make any difference?聽 You'll be surprised at the results.
