The Gannocy Estate聽has been a haven of聽beauty and bounty with the finest hunting, shooting, and fishing, looked over by the Laird and his staff of farmers, foresters, game- keepers and shepherds聽living in聽cottages scattered across the estate - but no more.
The聽present laird聽sold up to a business conglomerate who聽then decided to sell it on for profit. The residents, some聽4th generation, were only given 6 weeks notice.
Alistair Tyrie and Mavis have lived at their cottage over 6聽yrs聽and feel that they are, in effect, the new asylum seekers,聽being forced to look for a new home,聽new job and a new community.
