Martin Snodden
 Listen to the item
Martin Snodden enjoyed a blissful chidhood, first in Belfast proper, then in a suburb called Suffolk. He was fifteen in 1970, when the troubles erupted. Like many young men at the time, he joined a paramilitary organisation, theUlster Volunteer Force.
Thirty-four years later, he鈥檚 working for peace and slowly coming to terms with the horror he witnessed and caused.
Martin will be taking part in a debate on forgiveness at the ICA on Wednesday 28th April at 7pm. Bookings 0207 930 3647 or by email tickets@ica.org.uk or visit the ICA website.
