Loving Lucy

When Lucy was born 12 years ago, her parents, Tony and Julie were assured that her more or less constant聽crying was normal.聽It wasn't until 6 months later that Lucy was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
Initially, Julie found it hard to be with her daughter,聽but Tony seemed able to cope.聽聽As time went on,聽Julie began to build a relationship with Lucy and it was聽Tony who eventually聽felt he could take no more of Lucy's special聽needs, and finally left home.聽
Julie and Tony talk about the early months and聽how they feel now about聽themselves, and their daughter.
