Do other couples have a private tune they whistle or hum when they want their partner to know they are around without shouting a name? You know the sort of occasion: a motor way service station or seaside WC when one of you has finished in the inadequately soundproofed loo and the other one hasn't reappeared yet so you want to make sure they are still in there! - ours is the melody from Cesar Franck's symphony! Very distinctive and I've never heard anyone else whistling it.
