We asked PM listeners to take a picture of what they could see at 5pm on Tuesday the 5th of December.

This is me at 5pm with the washing up in my kitchen It's typical of me to be multi-tasking: baking a Christmas cake (new recipe with fruit soaked in Vodka instead of time honoured Granny Guthery's ) washing up the tools of the trade ( though husband does the dish-washer and run-of the mill stuff) preparing to have friends round for a meal later and listening to the radio. I usually cook much later. I am a PM listener but have never before made this sort of contribution. My apron is special - 65th birthday gift from my daughter and the old Kenwood in the background has helped feed the five thousand over the years. The builder completed in the kitchen this morning and the decorator finished the sitting room so the house looks like Acorn Antiques!
