I was walking home through Carlisle Continental Christmas Market and took this as I was passing a French Waffle Stall Despite the damp and cold the guys were really cheerful and singing away with some lively music. I didn't actually buy any waffles but I did get some rather fine French Cheese at the next stall as well as some garlic cloves flavoured with Provencal herbs. I went home whistling Le Marsiellaise. Vive La France!!!!
