A blessing or a curse?

Ten years on: it’s time to count the cost of the so-called Viagra revolution. The little blue pill that could cure male impotence was a startling discovery when it was launched in a storm of publicity in 1998. But just how much of all its publicity is hype? Has the wonder pill really lived up to its promise? Has it been a force for universal good? While it has transformed the relationships of millions over the past decade it has also contributed to the breakdown of many. Jane discusses the issues with sex and relationship psychologist Dr Petra Boynton,Ìýand John Tomlinson, physician specialising in men’s sexual health.
