The newly appointed head of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Professor Sabaratnam Arulkumaran, talks toÌýJane about the future of our maternity services.Ìý In April, the GovernmentÌýÌýpublished Maternity Matters - byÌýthe end of 2009, all women will haveÌýchoice around the type of care they receive, together with improved access to services and continuity of midwifery care and support.Ìý So is the Government is on track to fulfill its promises regarding maternity services?
