Wine
Are numbers on the increase and what can be done to help?

It is estimated that over the last few years there has been a 20% growth in the number of women over sixty admitted for rehabilitation for alcohol abuse.Ìý Alcohol misuse among older people is a largely neglected area of research in the UK and there is aÌýlack of alcohol services for this age group.

Jenni is joined by Hannah, a recovering alcoholic, Sue Allchurch, director of a group of alcohol treatment centres and Dr Howard Stoate MP, member of the Health Select Committee, to examine why this problem continues to get swept under the carpet.
