Friday Panel 27ÌýJune 2008
A round up of lively comment on the week's events

Our panel look ahead to the broadcast of "Britain's Missing Top Model", part of Â鶹Éç 3's Beauty Season. Is this an advance in seeing people with disabilities as attractive - or is it saying that only the body beautiful has value? "Dignity in Dying" have launched a Charter for Dignity at the End of Life - what is a dignified way to die and why do we often seem to be so bad at achieving that dignity? And as a new list of the world's great intellectuals is published, why are so few of them women? Joining Jane will be writer and commentator Yvonne Roberts; disability activist, comedian and actor Liz Carr; and Celia Lashlie, a New Zealander who's the author of "He'll Be Okay" about bringing up teenage boys.

He’ll be OK by Celia Lashlie is published by Collins ISBN: 978-0-00727880-0
