Is it ok to change your name if you marry? Is it the feminist "done thing" to be a Mrs and not a Ms?
The thorny question of gender and language has vexed one academic so much that today she's presenting a paper to the 'International Gender and Language Association Conference' that states that its clearly ok to become a Mrs.
