Nigel Slater's autobiography 'Toast'
Nigel Slater the food writer and cook, is known for his sensual approach to cooking and fixation with good food, it's no surprise that his autobiography is called Toast.

He charts 18 years of British cooking, from Arctic Rolls to Tinned Pies, through which he tells his childhood story of unhappiness and longing for better food.
Nigel Slater joins Jenni to talk about the book and his love of food.
Toast is published by Fourth Estate; ISBN: 1841152897
