Tha mise gu math sg矛th! Bha sinn eagallach trang!

There was a big music festival going on here. It was a bit loud for my sensitive ears, but Munro Jr and Melodaidh seemed to have a great time. Morag and Seanair seemed to enjoy it, too.

What really excited me were the Highland Games! There were lots of throwing events. One involved really big sticks. But the silly men didn鈥檛 throw them very far, so I didn鈥檛 bother fetching them. I鈥檓 sure that Seanair could have done a better job, if only he鈥檇 entered.

I鈥檓 afraid I鈥檓 too tired to write much more. Oidhche mhath!

Feasgar math a ch脿irdean!

We鈥檝e been exploring around the whole of the Western Isles. It turns out that the Isle of Lewis is not the whole island! That seems a bit strange to me鈥� the other part is the Isle of Harris, which is where I guess Harris Tweed comes from. Morag was pretty interested in that.

Seanair wanted to go up 鈥淎n Cliseam,鈥� which has the highest point in the Outer Hebrides! Typical! But the views from the top weren鈥檛 bad. (Of course, you can鈥檛 tell Seanair I said that or he鈥檒l be dragging me up even more mountains!)

We also went to a few museums and stuff, but I was more interested in running around outside, so I didn鈥檛 see much there. And I think I saw a few signs with pictures of dogs with red strips through them. I don鈥檛 want to get my fur painted!

Seanair said I was so well-behaved that he gave me extra cheese and onion crisps! Yum! Perhaps I should try behaving more often鈥ell鈥ot too often!

Ciamar a tha sibh? Tha c霉isean a鈥� dol gu math an seo. Tha sinn ann an Le貌dhas a-nis. 鈥橲 e 脿ite gu math snog a th鈥� ann! I think I鈥檓 getting better at the Gaelic!

We arrived on the Isle of Lewis, and I think this is one of my favourite places so far! We got to take a big ferry to get here 鈥� it was great! And there don鈥檛 seem to be many mountains for Seanair to drag me up. Mind you, he usually finds something to climb鈥� at least my poor paws have a break for now. I鈥檒l have to stay on the lookout, though鈥�

Plus, there are some great beaches. We went to a couple of them. I had a great time chasing the waves in and out! I would have won, too, if Munro Jr hadn鈥檛 thrown a stick for me to fetch. I got soaked! Still, I got my own back when I shook myself dry next to him! He looked pretty mad, but Melodaidh started laughing, and he seemed to cheer up a bit.

Anyway, I鈥檇 best be off for now. I can hear Seanair鈥檚 walking boots from here!
